Hey friends! I want to start by letting you know that I've decided to close the Tarot Tuesday chapter of my life at the close of 2019. This is the last installment!
I created this with the intention that it will set a foundation on what to look at immediately coming into 2020. When you've anchored in your intention, look at the cards presented and see where you gravitate. Continue scrolling for the reveals. The cards labeled with letters are more for clarification on another numbered card or to provide a synchronicity symbol for you for 2020, as the deck is based on symbols. Thanks for being a part of the Tarot Tuesday Fam these last 3 years! I love you.

I want to start by letting you know that I've decided to close the Tarot Tuesday chapter of my life at the close of 2019. This means there will be 2 more of these after this week, so let's make the most of them :)

Thanks for being a part of the Tarot Tuesday Fam these last 3 years! 💛 How collective readings work: Because we live in a Law of Attraction based universe, we can only experience people, places, things, & experiences that we are a perfect vibrational match to. This means that if you've found your way here, then there is absolutely a message for you that applies to your life in some way. How to do it: Look below at the photo of this week's cards, and think about your intention for this reading. Perhaps you will have a particular question or circumstance in mind that the reading can provide insight into, or maybe you just need a general message! Once you've determined the card(s) of your choice, continue reading this post to reveal the cards & meanings. *Note that when it comes to finding something you are unconscious of, what you read might not resonate immediately, as you cannot feel resonation if what you're dealing with is still shadow (what you don't know that you don't know). Your job is to discover how the card(s) you chose DOES apply to you and your life Card #1 - Gratitude in Reverse: If you have drawn this card in reverse, you are currently negatively focused. You are only noticing the things in your life and in others that cause you to feel pain. A life like that is not worth living. It prevents you from vibrationally lining up with what you want. You want to feel better. The way to feel better is to start looking deliberately for things about your life or others that give you pleasure to notice, to look at and to focus on. What causes you to feel pleasure when you are looking at it or thinking about it? Do a scavenger hunt through your life (past, present and future) of things that you are grateful for. Card #2 - Beginnings: If you have drawn this card upright, you are in alignment with the very energy that brings forth worlds. This card is all about birth and creation. Fertility is high at this time in all areas of your life. Create beauty in your life. Get in touch with your sensuality through taste, touch, sound, smell and sight. Draw on these senses to experience pleasure and deep fulfillment. These experiences will help bring forth the new manifestations that will enhance your life experience. Sometimes this card can indicate actual pregnancy or birth. Other times it can mean a metaphorical birth such as the birth of a new idea, a product, or a new way of being. New ideas and projects will be implemented resulting in the success of all your projects and interests. Bring forth those ideas that have been growing and developing inside of you. If you have drawn this card, it is a good idea to ground yourself and spend time in nature, reconnecting with the life force energy that surrounds you. Connect to the in the moment physical aspect of your existence. It is also a good time to be around babies and children for they call up back to the essence of who and what we really are. If you have drawn this card, trying to hold back your creations will cause great pain. It is a time for new beginnings. It is a time for birth and rebirth. Let the new come into this world and see the light of day. Bring your ideas to fruition. Card #3 - Sigil 8 - Bypassing: If you have drawn this Sigil, what you do not see is that you are bypassing in this situation. Bypassing is a coping mechanism that leads you to believe that actual resolution has taken place when it hasn’t. Bypassing (or whitewashing) is the act of using beliefs to avoid facing or healing one’s painful feelings, unresolved wounds and unmet needs. It is a state of avoidance. Because it is a state of avoidance, it is a state of resistance. Spiritual beliefs of any spiritual tradition and even simply societal beliefs can provide ample justification for living in a state of inauthenticity. They can all provide justification for avoiding the unwanted aspects of one’s own feelings and state of being in favor of what is considered to be “a more enlightened or virtuous state of being.” In today’s world, we have little tolerance for working through our pain. We much prefer instantaneous solutions that involve numbing out pain. When we whitewash over our issues and try to avoid them, it is premature and false transcendence. And it is dangerous because it sets up a major division internally. It creates a definable split between where one really is and where one thinks they should be. It enables us to lie to ourselves and delude ourselves and live our lives through the projection of a false self. This is not integration. This is selective identification. When we have been hurt, we so often suppress, deny and disown the part of us that feels those raw unresolved feelings and identify with a coping part of ourselves that is ‘beyond it all.' We cannot heal unless we are willing to admit to where we are and who we are. Bypassing is like breaking your leg, but being unwilling to admit to it, putting a Band-Aid over the compound fracture and trying to continue forward anyway. If you have drawn this Sigil, you may be using positives to deny, reject and disown negatives. For example, you may be using higher spiritual truths to invalidate the parts of lower dimensional reality that you find unpleasant. You may be convinced you are somewhere you are not. Ask yourself these questions: In this situation, am I avoiding the fact that I feel like I am deficient and not good enough or bad by creating a “persona” of a spiritually transcendent person? Am I using certain beliefs to avoid my pain or problems? Do I feel like the spiritual me is different than the embodied me? Am I using a belief to justify an insecurity within myself? Am I using spirituality (or anything else for that matter) to avoid looking at things in my reality that I would rather think didn’t exist?

Background: Frequency of Divine Masculine Activation Card #1 - Sigil 76 - Deflection: If you have drawn this Sigil, you are currently using deflection as a tool to avoid self-awareness in a situation where you really do need to recognize something within yourself. To deflect something is to cause that thing to change direction by interposing something. This turns it off of its straight course in another direction, even back in the original direction it came from. Deflection is when something someone communicates causes someone to feel triggered and as a result, instead of taking it in, they either ignore, deny or turn away from it. Or worse, turn it back towards the other person. This is done to avoid painful memories and painful emotions and painful thoughts, but it also prevents the person from being self-aware. Deflection is different from projection, which is when a person cannot accept a quality or aspect of their own personality because it is incompatible with their self-concept, so they project it out of their awareness and onto another person. It is the angry person recognizing anger in others, but thinking they are peaceful for example. However, once people learned about projection, it became a super common deflection technique. And it goes like this: In order to deflect something that someone tells you about yourself which triggers you, simply tell them they are projecting. Deflection is a defense mechanism that is designed to preserve self-concept. It is a form of projection when it is used to deflect blame. Essentially, when the fault is in fact with us, we project the blame and fault onto someone else. We feel we cannot take responsibility or blame for something and feel positive about ourselves at the same time. We are unwilling to feel guilt or shame. To give you some examples of deflection, a child may spill something and blame it on the cup. An abusive husband may blame his wife for provoking him by not having dinner ready on time despite what she promised. A person may say things to hurt someone and when they defend themselves, blame it on the person being too sensitive. A person may exhibit behavior that leads to a group intervention, but when confronted in this way, they may say that everyone has turned them into the enemy. A man may get criticized for something he did that upset his girlfriend but he may think, “She’s just on her period.” A person may destroy a relationship and say, “It always takes two.” A friend may do something hurtful and say, “She’s just triggered because of her own childhood.” A partner may do abusive things and when their partner gets angry at them, say that they are in an abusive relationship because of the other partner’s anger or because they are being told what they did wrong. A parent may cause emotional distress in their child and then drive them to a psychologist to figure out what is wrong with that child. And the list goes on and on. If you have drawn this Sigil, you are currently deflecting in this scenario. Recognize the shame and guilt that you feel. We deflect to save our self-concept. In order to awaken, we have to be able to see both sides of the coin about ourselves. Both our darkness and our light. This means in order to stop deflecting, we have to be willing to feel and see ourselves as not a good person in the circumstance we are in. If we are not willing to see ourselves in this light, we will continue to avoid self awareness by only seeing what we want to see in ourselves. Therefore, we will not be in reality. Our only axis of power is in reality. So we will not be able to make any positive change to the scenario we are in. If you have drawn this Sigil, let this Sigil help you to reflect. The opposite of deflection is reflection. Hopefully, you can reflect and accept to see yourself as not the good guy in this situation. But if you can’t, for the sake of other people around you, you can go through the backdoor of this pattern by feeding your positive self-concept by accepting your negative aspects. Just decide that the person who is the best person is the one who really owns their badness. When you feel the tension of defense in any given situation, use the power of your own ego’s desire to see you as a good person (and a good person owns their flaws) to in fact look for what you did wrong or what you did to hurt the other person. Card #2 - Sigil 57 - Blinding Optimism: If you have drawn this Sigil, it means that in this situation, your optimism is blinding you to actual reality. Optimism is associated with many positive things such as increased success, better physical, emotional and mental health, increased life expectancy and better recovery from adversity. Having a positive outlook is a positive thing. It is a positive thing until you are using it to deny the negative. This makes positivity nothing more than illusory denial. When our motives for being optimistic bring us away from awareness, our positive distortions of personal attributes, capabilities and estimation of the future can and usually does lead to negative outcomes. For example, it often gives us a flawed perception of risks and those who underestimate risks, do not take necessary action. We may be using a whole host of coping mechanisms and mistaking them for something good, because they are causing us to feel optimistic. We may be using optimism as a coping mechanism in and of itself. If we are doing this, chances are that we are using optimism to avoid the feeling of helplessness. Positive focus does a lot of good. But there is one enormous caveat to that rule. There is one massive exception: Positive focus works on everything except for the things you’re trying to use positive focus to avoid. Another way of saying this is positive focus works except for when positive focus is used as a tool to enable our resistance. It is a guarantee what whatever you resist, will persist. The question to ask yourself in this scenario is: What would I do differently if I knew my optimism were misguided in this scenario? There are times when optimism pays off; this is not one of those times. You are currently using optimism to avoid seeing what is real and you are about to make choices and take actions based on something other than reality. Card #3 - Sigil 54 - The Positive: If you have drawn this Sigil, what you do not see is that you are preventing yourself from the awareness of and experience of positive things. You have decided that if you allow yourself to be aware of (or express) these positive things, it will lead to negative things, when this Sigil has come to remind you, the truth is the opposite. Most people draw this Sigil when they are preventing themselves from feeling things like happiness, joy, hope, positive expectation or excitement. It is easy to think that happiness is always a good thing. But the truth is, the subconscious mind does not always agree. The truth is for some of us, happiness is like a pot at the end of the rainbow. It hovers in the future like an unreachable goal that we dream of, but that we don’t think that we can reach. How did we end up this way? We ended up this way because we suffered so much in our lives that happiness began to feel false. We ended up this way because we felt blindsided by painful experiences. When we are blindsided by painful experiences, especially when we are feeling good, we start to feel like happiness turns us into sitting ducks. We start to feel as if happiness is vulnerability that leaves us open for attack at any moment. Also, many of us feel as if there is always a give and take in life and so, if we are happy, we are convinced that it means that unhappiness is inevitably around the corner. Here are some important questions to ask yourself if you can’t hold on to happiness: “Did it feel like the happiness of one or both of my parents, conflicted with my happiness as a child? Did it feel like my happiness competed with their happiness? Did it feel like there was no way that both of us could be happy at the same time? Did it feel like either I was happy and my parent was unhappy or my parent was happy and I was unhappy?” When we feel as if our happiness conflicts with the happiness of our primary authority figures as a child, we grow up to feel as if our happiness is at odds with the universe at large. We feel as if we are in a giant chess match where the universe is against our happiness and wants to punish us for our happiness. We feel as if in order for the universe or God to be happy, we must be unhappy, therefore it will make us unhappy at any cost. When we cannot feel happy no matter how hard we try and we feel as if happiness is false and only negative emotions are real, what is really happening is that we have learned to FEAR happiness. We think that Happiness is dangerous; most often because we have been blindsided by emotional, mental or physical pain when we were enjoying ourselves. And perhaps even more than that, we have repeatedly been blindsided by emotional, mental or physical pain when we were enjoying ourselves. Basically, what is happening for many people who cannot be happy is that the very feeling of joy and happiness itself becomes the trigger for a post-traumatic stress response. Why is this a problem? It is a problem because you are now fighting with your own survival instinct to be happy. The wires in your own mind have become crossed to such a degree that your own being is trying to keep you feeling good by keeping you from feeling good. The strongest instinct in the physical body is the drive to avoid pain for the sake of survival. The minute your mind associates pleasure with pain, your brain now wires itself to avoid positive feeling states for the sake of feeling positive. When this has happened, we start to feel like our own mind is working against us. We feel like we are being prevented from happiness in every way, as if our being is an enemy living within. But understanding this dynamic should give you a bit of relief in and of itself because it means that your own being loves you so much that ironically it’s motivation for keeping you unhappy is so that you will feel good. It is common for people who have been hurt to build walls between themselves and others. These walls are designed to keep pain out, but the downside is that they also keep love and happiness out. But there is another kind of wall that is built by those who have been hurt even more. This kind of wall is designed to keep good feeling things like love and happiness out, but to keep pain in. The most common reason why we would let and keep pain in is a dynamic that begins in childhood. When we are young, we are rewarded for being good and punished for being bad. We learn very quickly that the only way to be loved is to be good. Since we need love more than we need food or water, our very survival depends on us being good; but that there is the problem. What if we are born into a family with parents who show a great deal of love and support and even reward us when we are hurt emotionally or physically? We learn that pain is good. We learn that since love and support and reward goes to the person who is hurting, there must be goodness or virtue in pain. It is good to show support for children who are in pain, but this support goes sour when we are only shown support when we are in pain. It causes us to get the message that feeling good means being bad. We begin to feel shame and fear in association with happiness. Being bad means being unloved and thus ultimately dying and so we begin to see feeling bad as good and feeling good as bad. We think that without pain, we will be forsaken completely. Often, for those of us who suffer chronically, pain is our buffer. We are using it to keep ourselves safe. Not only does it prevent us from feeling loss and prevent us from feeling shock, it also acts like a cushion. For most beings on earth, joy is their baseline and they experience temporary bouts of unhappiness and pain. But for some of us, especially those of us who find our way to self-help and spirituality, the tables are often turned. Suffering is our baseline and we experience temporary bouts of happiness and pleasure. When this is the case, happiness feels like a fleeting, temporary illusion. Happiness begins to feel not real where as unhappiness feels like a more permanent, inevitable truth of life itself. If suffering is your baseline, I want you to ask yourself two very important and personal questions. Try to answer them with as much brutal honesty as possible: 1. What is my positive intention for being unhappy or suffering? 2. What bad thing would happen if I were always happy and full of joy? Most of us think that we are trying incessantly to be happy but are not even aware that we have a subconscious motivation to be unhappy. We are in essence engaging in a tug of war between our conscious mind that wants happiness and our subconscious mind that doesn’t want happiness because of what it thinks that happiness entails. Another potential if you have drawn this Sigil is that you are suppressing a positive about yourself such as a positive character trait or positive talent. People often assume that people only suppress, deny, reject and disown bad things into the subconscious. This is not the case. Imagine a little girl who loves to sing. If this little girl grows up in a family that believes singing is a waste of time and that the little girl has to get her head out of the clouds and do things that will ensure her future, she may experience enough pain relative to the disapproval of her family when she focuses on singing that she may suppress her incredible singing voice. As she grows up, she may even suppress the awareness that she can sing along with the memories of her loving to sing. This Sigil may have come to you as a calling to re-discover, and re-own a positive aspect of yourself that you have stuffed under the floorboards of your own consciousness. This Sigil has come to make you aware that in this situation, you are not letting yourself see, feel, hear, understand or experience the positive. It has come to remind you that you deserve to feel good. You deserve happiness. You deserve to express your truest self, especially those amazing positive parts about you. And you deserve to feel safe when you feel happy.
