Hello everyone!! So glad you could join in on this week's free, collective card reading! How collective readings work: Because we live in a Law of Attraction based universe, we can only experience people, places, things, & experiences that we are a perfect vibrational match to. This means that if you've found your way here, then there is absolutely a message for you that applies to your life in some way. How to do it: Look below at the photo of this week's cards, and think about your intention for this reading. Perhaps you will have a particular question or circumstance in mind that the reading can provide insight into, or maybe you just need a general message! Once you've determined the card(s) of your choice, continue reading this post to reveal the cards & meanings. *Note that when it comes to finding something you are unconscious of, what you read might not resonate immediately, as you cannot feel resonation if what you're dealing with is still shadow (what you don't know that you don't know). Your job is to discover how the card(s) you chose DOES apply to you and your life GRAB FREQUENCY TAROT CARDS HERE TEAL SWAN'S BLINDSPOT ORACLE: Exclusive item sold only at her in-person events currently! Crystals: Apophyllite & Stilbite in Matrix Background: Frequency of Creativity Card #1 - The Selves: If you have drawn this card upright, you need to be versatile at this time. We all have multiple facets to our personality. Now is the time to know which aspect of your personality need to take center stage, and which one to keep behind the velvet curtain until its turn comes. You are being called to adapt to different functions or activities. Allow yourself to be like an actor, playing a role in each situation, provided that each role is an actual expression of a facet of you and not a facade that is designed to mask the real you. Let each different color of yours show. Card #2 - Non Attachment: If you have drawn this card upright, now is the time to practice non-attachment. Release your attachment to outcomes and permanence. Take more of a backseat to the universe so you can allow it to offer you what is in alignment with your highest good because in your current state, your perspective might be limited. Keep your mind and actions focused on what you want. But try to release your desperation for what you desire. This card suggests that you would benefit by releasing your grasp to people, concepts, things, cravings etc. When you release your grasping, you come into a vibration of allowing and non-resistance, and as a result, you experience both peace and a heightened perspective. Not only that, when you release your attachment to a certain outcome, you are actually making the space for an even better outcome to fill the space. Card #3 - Sigil 3 - Their Motives: If you have drawn this Sigil, you are not seeing the true motives of the other person (or perhaps multiple other people) involved in the situation. Unfortunately, if what you were unaware of were their positive intentions, you would have drawn a Sigil that assists with your own fear and distrust. This Sigil assists with situations where a person has motives and intentions that are not in alignment with your own best interests and perhaps they have motives that are not in alignment with their own best interests. Sometimes, in order to preserve our idea of a reality that we want to have be real, we ignore the actual reality. We want to believe that all people have our best interests at heart and also their own. We want to believe that all people have motives that are pure and conscious. If you have drawn this card, this is not the case relative to the situation you are in. So that you can get an idea of what this means, here are some examples: A woman is saying she loves a man but really she just wants him for his money. A person is really only present and a friend in someone’s life because of something they get out of that connection such as significance, fame by proxy, status, or support, and will vanish the second that need is not being met. A person helps someone with the intention of gaining relationship security through implied indebtedness for having helped. A person says they want to do something that they really hate doing and that isn’t in alignment for them to do so that they can get something they want (an ends justify the means approach). Or, a person being two-faced, which always implies that true motives are not being exposed. What all of these scenarios have in common is that a person’s motives are not what they feign them to be. Be aware that people are perfectly capable of even fooling themselves in terms of the truth of their actual motives. It doesn’t matter if the motive is conscious or unconscious, to be safe in this scenario; you need to be aware of their actual motives. Stay aware that we are perfectly capable of having mixed motives. We can have motives that are beneficial to those involved at the same time as having motives that are detrimental to those involved. This world is not black and white. But as long as a motive is subconscious and unseen, it is able to manipulate in ways that could harm all parties involved. Card #4 - Sigil 58 - Blinding Pessimism: If you have drawn this Sigil, it means that in this situation, your pessimism is blinding you to actual reality. There is a reason that we are pessimistic. We were not born pessimistic. It is a strategy we learn to adopt so as to minimize pain. It is a defense mechanism. This means if we are pessimistic in general, we have been very hurt in our lives and repetitively and it is a guarantee that in those scenarios, that hurt came with crushing disappointment. It means that if you are pessimistic in this single situation, you are doing so to minimize pain, especially the potential of disappointment. People use pessimism as a way to explain bad events in a stable and predictable way. We tend to think bad events are caused by us (controllable) and will definitely occur (predictable). Even though it is said that pessimism spreads helplessness, it is a strategy to try to avoid the painful helplessness of having a goal that you feel like you cannot attain, being excited only to be superbly disappointed and hoping only to find your hope shattered into a thousand pieces. Here is the thing, pessimism effects the way we act, or for that matter, the way we refuse to act. Optimists, who are not using optimism as an active form of denial, tend to pursue their goals persistently, leading them to build effective strategies and resources that enable them to achieve success. Optimists have a higher investment in their goals and much more perseverance with regards to attaining those goals. In other words, they are happy and healthy and successful not because of who they are, but because the way they see things causes them to act in ways that guarantees happiness, health and success. Because of this, pessimism is associated with greater anxious and depressive symptoms, resignation, underachievement and poor physical health. Pessimists often confuse themselves for realists. But if you are pessimistic, you are not a realist. To see what is real, you have to see that reality is made of both negative and positive. Pessimistic people are much better at seeing the negative in life, but are blind to positive. Optimists are better at seeing the positive in life, but if they are using optimism as an avoidance strategy, they are blind to the negative. This means you do not currently have a grasp on reality. If you have drawn this Sigil, you are not looking at the negative reality in this situation; you are using negative mental distortion to protect yourself and it is causing you to act (or not act) in ways that do not benefit you. Ask yourself this question: “What would I do differently in this scenario if I knew I had very real reason to expect positive and expect the best?”
