How collective readings work: Because we live in a Law of Attraction based universe, we can only experience people, places, things, & experiences that we are a perfect vibrational match to. This means that if you've found your way here, then there is absolutely a message for you that applies to your life in some way. How to do it: Look below at the photo of this week's cards, and think about your intention for this reading. Perhaps you will have a particular question or circumstance in mind that the reading can provide insight into, or maybe you just need a general message! Once you've determined the card(s) of your choice, continue reading this post to reveal the cards & meanings. *Note that when it comes to finding something you are unconscious of, what you read might not resonate immediately, as you cannot feel resonation if what you're dealing with is still shadow (what you don't know that you don't know). Your job is to discover how the card(s) you chose DOES apply to you and your life Card #1 - Gratitude in Reverse: If you have drawn this card in reverse, you are currently negatively focused. You are only noticing the things in your life and in others that cause you to feel pain. A life like that is not worth living. It prevents you from vibrationally lining up with what you want. You want to feel better. The way to feel better is to start looking deliberately for things about your life or others that give you pleasure to notice, to look at and to focus on. What causes you to feel pleasure when you are looking at it or thinking about it? Do a scavenger hunt through your life (past, present and future) of things that you are grateful for. Card #2 - Beginnings: If you have drawn this card upright, you are in alignment with the very energy that brings forth worlds. This card is all about birth and creation. Fertility is high at this time in all areas of your life. Create beauty in your life. Get in touch with your sensuality through taste, touch, sound, smell and sight. Draw on these senses to experience pleasure and deep fulfillment. These experiences will help bring forth the new manifestations that will enhance your life experience. Sometimes this card can indicate actual pregnancy or birth. Other times it can mean a metaphorical birth such as the birth of a new idea, a product, or a new way of being. New ideas and projects will be implemented resulting in the success of all your projects and interests. Bring forth those ideas that have been growing and developing inside of you. If you have drawn this card, it is a good idea to ground yourself and spend time in nature, reconnecting with the life force energy that surrounds you. Connect to the in the moment physical aspect of your existence. It is also a good time to be around babies and children for they call up back to the essence of who and what we really are. If you have drawn this card, trying to hold back your creations will cause great pain. It is a time for new beginnings. It is a time for birth and rebirth. Let the new come into this world and see the light of day. Bring your ideas to fruition. Card #3 - Sigil 8 - Bypassing: If you have drawn this Sigil, what you do not see is that you are bypassing in this situation. Bypassing is a coping mechanism that leads you to believe that actual resolution has taken place when it hasn’t. Bypassing (or whitewashing) is the act of using beliefs to avoid facing or healing one’s painful feelings, unresolved wounds and unmet needs. It is a state of avoidance. Because it is a state of avoidance, it is a state of resistance. Spiritual beliefs of any spiritual tradition and even simply societal beliefs can provide ample justification for living in a state of inauthenticity. They can all provide justification for avoiding the unwanted aspects of one’s own feelings and state of being in favor of what is considered to be “a more enlightened or virtuous state of being.” In today’s world, we have little tolerance for working through our pain. We much prefer instantaneous solutions that involve numbing out pain. When we whitewash over our issues and try to avoid them, it is premature and false transcendence. And it is dangerous because it sets up a major division internally. It creates a definable split between where one really is and where one thinks they should be. It enables us to lie to ourselves and delude ourselves and live our lives through the projection of a false self. This is not integration. This is selective identification. When we have been hurt, we so often suppress, deny and disown the part of us that feels those raw unresolved feelings and identify with a coping part of ourselves that is ‘beyond it all.' We cannot heal unless we are willing to admit to where we are and who we are. Bypassing is like breaking your leg, but being unwilling to admit to it, putting a Band-Aid over the compound fracture and trying to continue forward anyway. If you have drawn this Sigil, you may be using positives to deny, reject and disown negatives. For example, you may be using higher spiritual truths to invalidate the parts of lower dimensional reality that you find unpleasant. You may be convinced you are somewhere you are not. Ask yourself these questions: In this situation, am I avoiding the fact that I feel like I am deficient and not good enough or bad by creating a “persona” of a spiritually transcendent person? Am I using certain beliefs to avoid my pain or problems? Do I feel like the spiritual me is different than the embodied me? Am I using a belief to justify an insecurity within myself? Am I using spirituality (or anything else for that matter) to avoid looking at things in my reality that I would rather think didn’t exist?
