Hello everyone!! So glad you could join in on this week's free, collective card reading! How collective readings work: Because we live in a Law of Attraction based universe, we can only experience people, places, things, & experiences that we are a perfect vibrational match to. This means that if you've found your way here, then there is absolutely a message for you that applies to your life in some way. How to do it: Look below at the photo of this week's cards, and think about your intention for this reading. Perhaps you will have a particular question or circumstance in mind that the reading can provide insight into, or maybe you just need a general message! Once you've determined the card(s) of your choice, continue reading this post to reveal the cards & meanings. The person or thing in question needs space. Pause in order to carefully consider what to do next. It does no good to try and force a seed to sprout. If you step back, it will present itself in due time. Card #2 - Beginnings: If you have drawn this card upright, you are in alignment with the very energy that brings forth worlds. This card is all about birth and creation. Fertility is high at this time in all areas of your life. Create beauty in your life. Get in touch with your sensuality through taste, touch, sound, smell, and sight. Draw on these senses to experience pleasure and deep fulfillment. These experiences will help bring forth the new manifestations that will enhance your life experience. Sometimes this card can indicate actual pregnancy or birth. Other times it can mean a metaphorical birth of a new idea, a product, or a new way of being. New ideas and projects will be implemented, resulting in the success of all of your projects and interests. Bring forth those ideas that have been growing and developing inside of you. If you have drawn this card, it is a good idea to ground yourself and spend time in nature, reconnecting with the life force energy that surrounds you. Connect to the in the moment physical aspect of your existence. It is also a good time to be around babies and children for they emanate the essence of who and what we truly are. Trying to hold back your creations will cause great pain. It is a time for new beginnings. It is a time for birth and rebirth. Let the new come into this world and see the light of day. Bring your ideas to fruition. Card #3 - Gratitude: If you have drawn this card upright, it's time to take a pause to notice all the things you truly love and appreciate about your life. There are always things in our life that cause a sense of pleasure when we take notice of them. Stop looking for the big things and look for the little things instead, like the way that soap bubbles reflect the light, or the fact that the garbage man picks up the garbage every week. The vibration of appreciation is one of the highest vibrations of all. If you have drawn this card, recognizing the good qualities of your life or the good qualities of something you dislike entirely, is the surest way to line up vibrationally with what you have always wanted. Card #4 - Sigil #58 | Blinding Pessimism: If you have drawn this sigil, it means that in this situation, your pessimism is blinding you to actual reality. There is a reason that we are pessimistic. We were not born pessimistic. It is a strategy we learn to adopt so as to minimize pain. It is a defense mechanism. This means if we are pessimistic in general, we have been very hurt in our lives and repetitively and it is a guarantee that in those scenarios, that hurt came with crushing disappointment. It means that if you are pessimistic in this single situation, you are doing so to minimize pain, especially the potential of disappointment. People use pessimism as a way to explain bad events in a stable and predictable way. We tend to think bad events are caused by us (controllable) and will definitely occur (predictable). Even though it is said that pessimism spreads helplessness, it is a strategy to try to avoid the painful helplessness of having a goal that you feel like you cannot attain, being excited only to be superbly disappointed and hoping only to find your hope dashed into a thousand pieces. Here is the thing, pessimism effects the way we act or for that matter, the way we refuse to act. Optimists, who are not using optimism as an active form of denial, tend to pursue their goals persistently, leading them to build effective strategies and resources that enable them to achieve success. Optimist have higher investment in their goals and much more perseverance with regards to attaining those goals. In other words, they are happy and healthy and successful not because of who they are, but because the way they see things causes them to act in ways that guarantees happiness, health and success. Because of this, pessimism is associated with greater anxious and depressive symptoms, resignation, underachievement and poor physical health. Pessimists often confuse themselves for realists. But if you are pessimistic, you are not a realist. To see what is real, you have to see that reality is made of both negative and positive. Pessimistic people are much better at seeing the negative in life, but are blind to positive. Optimists are better at seeing the positive in life, but if they are using optimism as an avoidance strategy, they are blind to the negative. This means you do not currently have a grasp on reality. If you have drawn this sigil, you are not looking at the negative reality in this situation, you are using negative mental distortion to protect yourself and it is causing you to act or not act in ways that do not benefit you. Ask yourself this question: "What would I do differently if I knew I had very real reason to expect positive and expect the best?" Card #5 - Higher Purpose: If you have drawn this card upright, the first step in finding meaningful purpose in every aspect of your life is to open the door to the aspect of you which chose into this life in the first place; your eternal, non-physical self. If you are unintentionally cut off from your awareness of this side of yourself, this will sound like a tall order. But it is really as easy as this...Be brave enough to acknowledge and accept what it is that you feel truly passionate about. What is it that makes you feel happy? What makes you feel passion? When you are feeling joy or passion, it is because you have found resonance with that aspect of your Self, the soul that chose to come into this life and thus, you are in alignment with your higher purpose. Your purpose with respect to what you are meant to be "doing" here in this life will literally fall in your lap when you commit to living life at the mercy of your own passion and joy.
